ADULT CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, and ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements, and can be performed to many different styles of music.
You will learn a combination of Hip Hop, Reggae, Latin and other world dance set to Hip Hop music. Learn choreography and freestyle (improvisational) to how to perform breaking and popping. We will be sweating to the beats with high energy dancing after learning the basic moves from different dance styles. This is a great workout for beginners and the experienced dancer.
CATWALK: HIGH HEELS 101
Looking for your signature walk? This class will focus specifically of perfecting your Sensual Stroll. Learn how to walk confidently and naturally in those Stiletto’s whether they are 3 inches or 6 inches high. Walking properly in high heels improves your pelvic floor muscles. This class will focus on: Balance, Poised posture, Confident turning and Sexy Dance Moves. PLEASE NOTE: For a more intense work-out, we offer the High Heel 101 Workshop.
Ready to add a new element to your dance? In this workshop you will learn a sequence of movements and basic strength used for the dynamics of exploring your dance on our cozy studio chair! All women that want to further their pole dance skills with the incorporation of the chair.
HIT THE STANDS: ADULT MAJORETTE
This class is designed to teach the purpose of a performance line, performance drills, technic, discipline, majorette marching, stands, and field routines. So, if your desire is to learn how to throw those eight counts, then come "Hit the Stands". Keep in mind to be on time. If not, give me kicks.
LIQUID MOTION™: FLOORWORK
You will learn the art of body language while working on pirouettes, floor work, and dance moves to help you develop transitional moves on the pole. From warm up, to slow-burn dance combination, to cool down – we will have you feeling sexy. You will use the wall, floor, pole and/or chair to work it out.
Knee pads - REQUIRED. Leggings or Leg Warmers - Optional
We offer dance classes for every level, and each class is capped at 15 people so everyone can get the individual attention they need.
All classes are first-come, first serve, so please reserve your spot in advance and arrive 10-15 minutes early.
